April Stensgard

April Stensgard is a seasoned leadership coach, trainer, and speaker with over 20 years of experience guiding people through the pivotal transitions that shape their careers and lives. She partners with individuals at every stage from early career professionals to senior executives helping them navigate change, pursue advancement, and align their work with purpose and meaning.

As a former Director of Career Development and longtime Leadership Coach, April has supported leaders and professionals in healthcare, corporate, nonprofit, and academic sectors. Her approach is intentionally personal and authentic, not a one-size-fits-all. She tailors each engagement to the unique strengths, goals, and challenges of the individual or team she serves.

April’s has a natural ability to help people turn uncertainty into possibility. She combines strategic coaching expertise with a deep passion for developing connections and creating communities of professionals who learn, grow, and journey together. Whether coaching one-on-one or leading groups, April creates safe spaces where individuals can navigate transitions with clarity, confidence, and resilience.

She holds a master’s in leadership and a bachelor’s in communication studies from the University of Northwestern. A Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), certified MCode & StrengthsFinder Coach, and lifelong student of human motivation, April brings both proven tools and an intuitive, relational style to her work.

At her core, she is driven by a passion to help people discover not only what’s next, but what’s meaningful. She is also the founder of Love for Kenya, a nonprofit that partners with Kenyan leaders who are serving the widows, orphans, and poorest members of their society.
